Secret Plan Studios lends a hand to director Raul Garcia to previz Edgar Allan Poe’s classic story “The Pit and the Pendulum”, for his movie “Extraordinary Tales. THE MOVIE”.
With the voices of Sir Christopher Lee, Bela Lugosi, Julian Sands, Roger Corman and Guillermo del Toro, “Extraordinary Tales. THE MOVIE” is an animated anthology of five Edgar Allan Poe’s stories, each crafted in an unique graphic technique inspired by visual artists and illustrators whose style best expresses the psychological depth and complexity of Poe’s dark universe. “The Pit and the Pendulum” became an homage to the art of Francisco Goya and Giovanni Battista Piranesi, as well as the early photographs of Nicéphore Niépce.
